Made from food safe material, these moulds can be used to transform and create baked goods, furniture, soap, and jewelry to name just a few common mediums.
***Be sure to use different moulds for food and craft.
Air dry or paper clay is the house favorite at Robin Eggs and Chicken Legs. Like most air dry and paper clays, some shrinking, warping, and cracking is inherent, but this is what we celebrate in our vintage style! Simply remove your mould while still moist and apply to your project with the appropriate glue. (We love Titebond wood glue!) If adhering to a vertical surface, low tack or painter's tape will hold it in place and prevent sliding.
Casting resin is another very popular choice when using IOD decor moulds but have a completely different quality than clay. You will not experience any shrinking, warping, or cracking, rather a very consistent casting. If you plan to conform to a curved surface, be sure to remove them from the ,ould before completely hardened.
Upon release, you may experience some sticking. This is more common with clay than resin. Lightly dusting the mould with some cornstarch or arrowroot will remedy the situation.
